We’re a research group at the University of Maryland, College Park, committed to bridging data and lived experience through visualization. We study, design, and build visualizations that center cognitive accessibility, reflect diverse lived experiences, and support real-world decision-making.

Our mission is to make data understandable to every mind, relatable for everyday people and relevant to everyday life. We believe that when data has a heart and life (hint: see our logo), it becomes more than facts and figures, but insight, inspiration, and a force for change.
